The construction of Wadi Adai interchange incorporates the establishment of a third level “trumpet” arrangement that will facilitate left-turns. The interchange will be located in an urban zone with very heavy traffic.
Description of Work:
• Construction of steel gantry structure to support bridge deck formwork without interruption of traffic
• Construction of Bridge No 2: (343 meters and 226 meters long) post-tensioned concrete two-cell box girder bridge with pile foundations
• Road works including water drainage, asphalting, road lighting, safety barriers, paving and curbing, road signing and marking
• Signalized at-grade intersection
• Public utility service diversion and protection
